Fourteenth Quirk - An unappreciative audience. (Video)

*Imogen's Gear shows a close up on her, and her new bit of jewelry taking a lot of the frame. It's pretty much a Wonder Woman cuff bracelet, but with her Plain Badge in the center of it. She's out of her prom gear so her hair is back in buns (one held together with her Hive Badge chopstick), and her earring is again her Zephyr Badge. All three badges on display with different pieces of jewelry to present them.*

So with all the cracray that was Prom, I kiiiiiiinda forgot to share this little number with everyone. It's been sitting on my Gear till I remembered when I finished up with this. *She wiggles her wrist to make the badge glint and gleam in the light.*

I will say that the ride to prom was super awkward because Whitney wasn't the... um, she's kinda rude when she loses. Anyone know that?

Well! Anyway! Onto the show!

******

Imogen, clad in a black and white suit, complete with tophat and monocle, stands at one end of the Goldenrod arena. She's leaning on a cane, she has the most wonderful sense of showmanship. The first two Pokemon hit the field and Imogen's cane quickly clatters to the ground as she moves to her Ocarina to give commands. A calm collected melody as this bit of the fight isn't really worth much effort:

Omen the Absol vs. Girafarig

This is not the fight Whitney wants, before even a second goes by Omen is pacing to get behind Girafarig and when it turns to attack Omen a cruel looking Sucker Punch is crashing into Girafarig's flank. Omen leaps back, Whitney calls out a command and a Night Slash rakes across Girafarig's side.

"Nonononono! Girafarig return!"

Omen vs. Clefable

Omen is keeping it's distance, as Imogen instructs for once. Eyes glowing as the fight starts... but nothing happens. Of course the Aurasphere Cefable has in store for Omen does do something. Omen does it's best to keep out of the paths, limit how many of Cefable's huge fighting moves can hit. The occasional sudden freak blast taking Clefable off her feet helps, as do the Feints that keep Cefable off her game, but...

"You, you, close the blinds."

Imogen is more than a little confused... until the wounds on Clefable start to fade and vanish with Moonlight. And the next Aurasphere takes Omen down. Imogen does not look that perturbed by the eventuality. Recalling her partner and switching to her next Pokeball. A small glint of anger in her eye as her next Pokemon takes the stage.

Talent the Espeon vs. Clefable

The first thing to happen is Talent glows slightly, then Clefable does, and an energy travels between them. Whitney figures it out rather quickly, "You- You can't do that! Give Clefable her Magic Guard back!"

Imogen's response is to have Talent blast Clefable with Psychic. Moonlight keeps Clefable in the fight but only just as Imogen's offense rallies with Talent's ridiculous speed and power on his side. Plus stealing away Clefable's Ability and sticking it with Synchronize leaves Talent the upper hand. Eventually Clefable finally stumbles and falls over... no way it's continuing. Which leaves the star of Whitney's gym...

Talent vs. Miltank

Miltank comes out like a demon with a Rollout... which flies over Talent harmlessly. Someone used their reflect like a ramp to switch Rollout's path. Then Talent just looks cute, really really cute. ...Miltank slows, just slightly. Another Rollout, Talent takes a slight hit and stumbles and yawns. Rollout still coming and another Reflect, the weight of the Rollout is enough to shift the barrier and still hit Talent but... Miltank crashed, it's asleep? "Miltank! Get up! GET UP! COME ON!"

Talent releases a blast of white energy which... a moment later falls and heals the Espeon, while it looks cute for a little while. Still cute, okay stop that now, too much cute. Miltank is finally up and rolling again... something is clearly wrong as it's next rollout looked pathetic compared to it's first attempt. It hit but Talent barely seemed phased. Imogen changed her tune and Talent lashed his tails once, energy flooding out of the small creature and... suddenly an Aerodactyl took his place.

Aglon the Aerodactyl vs. Miltank

Whitney only got to watch with absolute anger as Rollout was deflected by a Wing Attack. Talent's repeated Charm had taken it's toll and Miltank had nothing to put up an offense with, her heart wasn't in the fight anymore. The incoming attacks and strikes from the large dinosaur could be healed, but nothing Miltank could throw slowed Aglon down. She was too high up, too sturdy, and too fast. A few Rockslides in and Miltank was buried and down.

Imogen played the Zelda victory fanfare and Aglon flew a circle around her trainer, pleased Imogen was pleased. Imogen kicking her fallen cane up to her hand, spinning it, and posing with it like a complete goof. Ending with flourishing her hat and bowing to her opponent. Who was far less graceful a loser than Imogen a winner.

"You- you're a freak! A mean creepy freak! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

...Imogen doesn't really know how to handle making Whitney cry, it was only a battle after all. Looking pretty stiff and stunned for the first time all battle.

She'll just... gesture the camera to cut now.
