Seventh Quirk - Video + Action (Violet City Pokemon Center)
*The video opens with a rather pathetic looking Imogen. Her time in the snow has had her a bit in the blues. She kinda freaked out and did that near death thing and she doesn't want to do that again. Does that make her a coward. Making her seem sadder, her hair is in one single, boring ponytail instead of one of her usual buns or balls or twintailed monstrosities. She's absentmindedly petting Whiskey, her Rattata all the while.*
So I hope everyone's homes are still standing after all that almost but not quite end of the world bad. I hope I was the only one out there in trouble.
Um... if anyone's house does need work. I can draw up designs for any construction team you hire. You can name a fair price for me to work for. I don't have a proper construction team, so all I can do is design.
And I'm pretty sure if I tried to leave the city angry ponies would jump me and drag me back here cause I'm not exactly in perfect shape.
...That's all.
*She forces out one beaming bright smile. And the video feed cuts.*
----------
*And Imogen promptly falls over on her side with a understated sign. The weather grew too harsh for her while on the road. She made the best time she could but in the process overworked herself and Wildfyre. All to run toward what? Three ponies and their holiday together. So she wouldn't be alone? Even with them she'd be alone. No Dad, no Natalie, no Fiona, no Eli, no Bianca, no Band, nobody that was hers. She was a pity date of the most pitiful of dates.*
*The usual happy endless energy that was an Imogen with a destination, a desire, a place to go wasn't here. Even when her goals were empty and superficial, she hit them with the energy of a freight train powered by laughter and kittens on hamster wheels. This close to Christmas, nobody around for the moment. She doesn't have the energy to pretend right now. She could draw out some, just a little, to deal with the network. But while it was just her, Whiskey, and Omen curled up protectively at her feet? Her tanks were too drained to lie to herself, just everyone else.*

[Starswirl peers at her over the stack of books he's carrying over to Twilight, who's in a chair at a table far enough away that she didn't hear what Imogen was saying.]
One thing I've learned is that when Twilight and Fluttershy are concerned, it's best to just go along with them. And the new one's no different. You should just-
Starswirl, where are those books on fire-type care?
[There's a mental sigh and Starswirl shrugs.]
I'm coming, Twilight. Patience. [He looks back at Imogen.] Just let them fuss over you for a while. It makes them feel better.
[Action]
It's weird! They barely know me! I... if they were my friends from home, or certain overprotective destructive omens I met in New Bark, I wouldn't have a problem. And they better not, that's not something I want to explain to-
*Imogen tucked her knees a bit closer to her chest as sh hugged Whiskey.*
Nevermind.
[Action]
It's not weird to them. They consider you a friend, that's good enough for them to act like this. You'll get used to it after a while.
[Twilight takes this moment to stick her head around the books she's currently got and blink at Imogen.]
Everything okay over there?
[Action]
No need to worry.
*Imogen put on a brave uplifting smile.*
I miss her so much right now...
[Action]
"Her"?
[Action]
*She sighed internally, trying to keep up the idea she was bouncy and happy and staring off into space like a the crazy everyone thinks she is. Her expressions grow more rueful as her thoughts stay in the conversation.*
My girlfriend... I haven't talked about her much here. Cause if I think about her too long I'll shatter. Christmas back home, she wasn't... we weren't sure where we were. Now that we know what we are, it hurts to not have her here.
*Imogen tries to casually slip her glasses off and wipe at her face with her sleeve. To cover up how misty eyed this is making her. It wasn't very effective.*
