Coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!!!

*Barring questions on how Imogen has that much breath, the girl seems to be in awe over her new hatchling. A sparkly looking golden Vulpix. Currently Imogen's hair is in a pair of handlebar looking things sticking out of the side of her head. She also has an Eevee perched on her shoulder, her hatchling from earlier in the week. And of course Brenn the Squirtle who was watching as the new Vulpix set some drapery on fire.*

Not cool not cool not cool! Brenn!

*Squirtle jumped into action taking the fire out with a few simple water guns.*

No, Nove, no! We have talked about this. Fire pretty OUTSIDE. We are INSIDE. Stop that!

*Nove the shiny Vulpix did not seem phased by this reprimand.*

Alright, so I got a bunch of little hatchlings, but I seem to do pretty well getting them to behave with only a week of training. ...Barring Aglon, but she's unique, being a large dinosaur. She's stopped trying to eat Whiskey and Tailypo!

...I'm a bit worried by the fact that she was trying to eat them in the first place.

She's a dinosaur, like, really, dinosaur. She doesn't understand English very well and in the wild she probably would eat other things like them.

I was hoping this would be going better, but I wasn't that optimistic.

You really don't have much luck with newborns, do you. Is there any way to fireproof hotel rooms temporarily?

Brenn is better behaved, and Talent is an angel. Wildfyre has never been a handful.

I've just had some fun luck the past few weeks.

I really hope that streak won't last too long, for your sake.

I mean, yeah, if Aglon and Nove never behave then I don't want anymore troublemakers, but they are learning... I guess.

Far from it. I just naturally have sympathy for women stuck dealing with fussy babies. Though those can always calm down with age, at least.

Well, I am doing fine. I'm sure this won't be an issue. I just need to get them to understand what is food, and what is meant to be on fire.

Until then maybe I should find a place away from town to train with them.

...And what if they prefer their food on fire? You might want to bring a few Pokémon that have the advantage over them, just in case.

That Vulpix is like a Monstrous Nightmare...

She isn't that bad!

...She just isn't all that housebroken yet.

Setting everything on fire is...kind of what Monstrous Nightmares do... They even set themselves on fire.

Oh, Monstrous Nightmare is the name of a species of Dragon where you're from!

...That's a pretty mean name to give something, no wonder they set stuff on fire.

I...guess? They don't seem to mind, though. And if they did, they'd let us know. They're pretty proud, and they've got a short temper. Besides, it's not like the people who named the dragons liked them very much, back then. Getting along with dragons is a recent development.

Well, if they are proud, maybe they'll be a bit nicer if they have a name that plays up how impressive they are. Blazing Prominence or something like that!

*Imogen there aren't any here to rename, you're not helping and you have gotten way off track.*

Not too bad. Problem would be finding another viking who knows what prominence means.

It should be an easy word to teach, it's very ego-friendly.

Say this is all you got to focus on, it gets boring after a while if you let it take up all your attention. So you start with something else.

*Second Pokeball, one in each hand.*

...Still kinda dull, putting everything into holding two things. Plus your hands are full, how are you to do anything else that catches your eye?

*She tosses one Pokeball up in the air, picks up another, and starts juggling the three.*

But if you got three things? You race from one to the next, never stopping, never giving up. Doing everything and adding everything to your attention, quickly slipping from one to the next?

*She's been adding Pokeballs, she's got six in the air.*

Your hands are empty more than they're full, and the sheer thrill of everything, all at once, because you wanna do it... keeps you going!

I'd much rather juggle my attention between all the things I love, instead of get so lost in one I lose track of everything else! It may look like my hands are full, but I'm having too much fun to be bothered!

If raising babies were easy it wouldn't be rewarding. Especially babies that'll end up able to topple buildings if I'm not careful with them.

I didn't think a baby dinosaur would be housebroken at hatching anyway.
